March 5, 2020
Here at Eaglemont Golf Course and Fireweed Terrace Restaurant & Lounge, the health, safety and wellbeing of our customers, guests and staff are our top priorities. We have been closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in Washington State and have been taking the necessary preventative measures as recommended by the CDC, Washington Department of Health, and local health authorities.
These preventative measures include encouraging employees who are feeling ill to stay at home, performing routine cleaning and sanitization of heavily trafficked areas in our clubhouse, restaurant, and event spaces, as well as educating our managers and staff on the coronavirus outbreak with documentation provided by the Washington Department of Health and CDC.
The Washington Department of Health recommends the following to prevent the spread of respiratory illnesses (including COVID-19):
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands.
Clean and disinfect objects and surfaces.
Stay at home and away from others if you are feeling ill.
At this time Eaglemont Golf Course and Fireweed Terrace Restaurant & Lounge plans to continue operations as normal. As news and events continue to unfold, please check our website, www.eaglemontgolf.com, for latest updates.
